Global Si is decreasing in out-of-box simulations with ecosys.

Bug is due to error in code that was present when model was tuned.

Code should change from
            if (flux_alt > c1) then
               P_SiO2%sed_loss(i,j,bid) = 0.3_r8 * flux_alt - 0.06_r8
            else
               P_SiO2%sed_loss(i,j,bid) = 0.04_r8
            endif

to

            if (flux_alt > c2) then
               P_SiO2%sed_loss(i,j,bid) = 0.2_r8
            else
               P_SiO2%sed_loss(i,j,bid) = 0.04_r8
            endif

Comment above this should change to
!  Bsi preservation in sediments based on
!     Ragueneau et al. 2000 (doi:10.1016/S0921-8181(00)00052-7)

New defaults for namelist variable parm_BSIbury are
0.65 for x1 and 0.9 for X3.

Keith gave me updated code so this bug is gone as of the cesm_pop_2_1_20131025 POP tag, used in cesm1_3_alpha05c
